Relocation: finding a home to rent in French-speaking Switzerland

Finding an apartment in Lausanne or Geneva takes time, a flawless application and a knowledge of the market you do not have when you arrive. We run the search for you, discreetly and to your brief, until the keys are in your hand.

Who it is for

  • People moving to Switzerland, with or without an employer, who know neither the market nor its customs.
  • Companies relocating an employee and wanting a complete service.
  • People already here who simply lack the time: parents, executives, people in transition.

How we work

  1. Brief: budget, neighbourhoods, transport, schools, timing, pets, home office.
  2. Application file: we build it with you so it is complete and convincing from the first application. In Switzerland a landlord expects an ID or permit, recent payslips, a debt-enforcement extract (extrait de poursuites) and often a reference. We explain where to get each one.
  3. Search: portals, our network of managers and owners, unlisted properties.
  4. Viewings: we pre-visit, then visit with you, in person or by video if you are still abroad.
  5. Lease: contract review, rent deposit, move-in inspection, and the practical steps: household liability insurance, electricity, registration with the commune.

Where

Lausanne and its area, the Riviera (Vevey, Montreux, La Tour-de-Peilz), La Côte as far as Nyon, Geneva, and on request Fribourg and Neuchâtel.

Fees

A flat fee agreed at the outset, invoiced to the individual or to the sponsoring company.
